The McCullough Family has been associated with land development and building in America since the 1740s. Henry McCullough (1700-1779), started the McCullough Land Company. He bought and sold land in North and South Carolina from about 1740 to 1776.

Our family was given a land grant in the Carolinas of 2.4 million acres. Some of this land and family business was passed on to James W. McCullough (1818-1892), five generations ago. He started the McCullough Timber Company. With the land and sawmill company established, it was only natural for McCullough Brothers to be born.

Therefore, his sons and grandsons started McCullough Brothers. This led to the family building homes throughout North Carolina. James G. McCullough moved to Georgia in the 1950s and in 1979, James W. McCullough started McCullough Services; a Heating and Air Conditioning company.

With the addition of building quality custom homes, remodeling and HVAC, McCullough Brothers has been growing strong in Georgia since the 1950s. As you can see from our history, the McCullough family is proud of our name and the quality that stands behind it.
